North Carolina Boxing Talk Radio Show; Thursday, July 4, 2013

This Show: Boxing in Greensboro, July 13th, will feature two of North Carolina’s best undefeated fighters, Josh Tufte and Noel Echevarria, each in title bouts. * R&R Promotions brings 10-bout card to Fayetteville; 20 fighters, but how many from North Carolina…and who? * James “Shotgun” Winchester wins by KO in Ruffin boxing event, but what else happened in Ruffin? * Special thanks to Raleigh, North Carolina female prizefighter Yvonne Caples for her email; hear what Yvonne has to say about women’s boxing in our state. * Our only N.C. guy at the 2013 Junior Olympic National Championships in Alabama was a no-show. * Press Release just in: Adrien Broner and R&R Promotions giving complimentary tickets to all military for Friday's "Independence Explosion" fight card in Fayetteville.

Note: I misspoke near the end of the show when reading the press release. Rau'shee Warren will be fighting Jesus Bayron, not Raynell Williams, who will fight in a different bout (and different weight division).
