Ruffin, NC event June 14 moved to June 28.

Boxing programs in colleges and trying to bring the NCBA (National Collegiate Boxing Association) tournament to North Carolina.

Learn how some young women such as Antoinette Smith, Shaniqua Marshall, and two-time Golden Gloves champion Lateshia Darden, all whom train at Port City under the tutelage of Coach Andre, have turned their life into something positive with their boxing training and skills.

Boxers victorious in Wilmington

WILMINGTON — Two members of the Dungeon Boxing Club pulled out wins during the North Carolina Invitational Saturday [June 1st] in Wilmington.

McKayla Ard improved to 2-1 in her career with a victory over Kimberly Pittman from Wilson. Ard was awarded the win when the referee stopped the bout in the second round. Brittany Winburn defeated Raleigh’s Holly Wantuch by unanimous decision.
